Australian Darts Association Launched

Big news this weekend with the official launch of the Australian Darts Association (ADA). The ADA launched to a social media frenzy on Friday with the news they have already locked in three weekends of events in three different states over the next three months. Not next year, not later this year, starting in June!
Not only that, the ADA are spruiking an official partnership with the PDC and the opportunity to qualify for not only the new ANZ Premier League, kicking off this October and November.
The first weekend of ADA action kicks off in just four weeks time, with 4 events over Friday through Sunday at Pine Rivers Darts & Sporting Club from June 27th-29th. There is a total prize pool of $20,000 across the four events on that weekend.
On face value this seems like an amazing opportunity for dart players in Australia. It will be interesting to see how things develop.
The full inaugural ADA calendar looks as follows:
- Event 1: June 27th-29th, Pine Rivers Darts & Sporting Club, Sandgate, Queensland
- Event 2: August 1st-3rd, Northern District Darts Association, Elizabeth North, South Australia
- Event 3: September 5th-7th, Melton Dart Club, Melton, Victoria
